Frome Agricultural & Cheese Show is a one day show with a wide range of
attractions including Childrens Entertainment, Mountain Bike Stunt Show, Dog
Agility, 4 Horse Jousting, Animal Nursery, Beer Tent, Crafts, Eating Places and
most of all - CHEESES.
Tour of Britain
Cycle Race - Stage 5
September 15th, 2010
Last year saw the arrival of the Tour of Britain Cycle Race
in Frome. This year the tour takes in nearby Glastonbury, finishing
stage 5 of the race there on September 15th.
STAGE 5 starts in Devon at Tavistock, which
is on the edge the South West's other National Park, Dartmoor.
The riders will work their way up through the Devon and South
Somerset countryside, crossing the Somerset Levels & Moors
and ending in the historic town of Glastonbury.

Carnival
November 10th, 2010
The floats can be huge, over 50 feet long and covered in hundreds
of light bulbs. Dwarfing the streets, these magnificent edifies
drawing awe and wonder from the crowds are the results of months
of work by the Carnival Clubs. These spectacular events can be
hard to describe and you really do need to see them to believe
them!

adorn the streets; each one offering unique, handmade and unusual gifts, decorations
and food items - everything you will need for the perfect Christmas celebration.

Bath Literature Festival has established itself as one of the
UK’s most respected literary events, presenting the best in local,
national and international writers in venues throughout Bath’s
vibrant city centre.
Bath International
MusicFest
May 25th – June 5th, 2011
Inaugurated in 1948, Bath International Music Festival has an
illustrious artistic history and has long been a well-established
event of national significance and international reputation.
It takes place annually over two weeks in late May/early June,
presenting a range of high quality events including orchestral,
chamber and contemporary classical music, contemporary jazz and
world music. The programme takes place mainly in city venues
and also includes free-to-the-public outdoor events.
Glastonbury Festival
2011
June 22nd – June 26th, 2011
One of the main music events in the area, if not the country!
Glastonbury Festival 2011 promises to be just as good as the
2010 festival, let's just hope it's as dry as last year! More
